    Day 1: London

    Arriving London Heathrow (LHR) airport. Welcomed by your local tour manager and transfer to hotel for check in. Airport transfer is provided. The rest of the afternoon is at your leisure.

    Day 2: London

    London orientation tour begins with view of Green Park, Buckingham Palace which is the London residence and administrative headquarters of the reigning monarch of the United Kingdom, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben clock tower, Westminster Abbey, one of the world's greatest churches, with a history stretching back over a thousand years and an essential part of any trip to London, 10 Downing Street whichh is the headquarters of the Government and the official residence of the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom and London Eye for the panoramic view of the city. You will also have a time for a cruise along the river Thames.

    Day 3: London

    Today you will be taking the ride on London Underground train, better known as the Tube, which has 11 lines covering 402 km and serving 270 stations. Opened in 1863, it is the world's oldest underground railway network, and one of the largest. The Tube handles up to 5 million passenger journeys per day. Your first visit is Tower of London and Tower Bridge, two of the city's most famous historical landmarks. Then continue to the luxury department store Harrods. Then your shopping opportunity at Europe’s biggest shopping mall, Westfield London.

    Day 4: London — Cambridge — York

    After breakfast, check out your hotel. It is time to visit the nation’s acclaimed educational institution; Cambridge University with its ancient colleges, cobbled streets and punting on the pretty River Cam. We then head to York, a mecca for history buffs and lovers of fine architecture and culture.

    Day 5: York — Newcastle — Edinburgh

    Today, we are heading into Scotland. We are expected to arrive in the capital city, Edinburgh, in the afternoon. Edinburgh represents the best in Scottish heritage. Upon arrival, we first visit Edinburgh Castle, set on the stunning view of volcanic rock structures, where once inside we will admire the oldest royal crown and jewellery.

    Day 6: Edinburgh — Windermere — Manchester

    Drive back into England with a visit to the Lake District National Park, one of the UK’s most popular tourist spots. Next on the list is Manchester. Fashionable, social buzz and dynamic, the England’s most productive industrial city. Football fans can enjoy a pilgrimage to the Manchester United Old Trafford Stadium.

    Day 7: Manchester — Stratford—upon—Avon — Cardiff

    Leaving Manchester behind, drive to the William Shakespeare’s hometown in Stratford Upon Avon. Walk around the town centre to see the beautiful Tudor-style buildings and sites connected with the life of Shakespeare. Onwards to the Welsh capital of Cardiff.

    Day 8: Cardiff – Bath – Oxford – Bicester – London

    Today, heading back to London. En route, visit the beautiful Georgian City of Bath and take you to Bath Abbey and Roman Baths, built around thermal springs, which have been supplying water for over 2,000 years. Next is the city of Dreaming Spires and home to the world's most famous university, Oxford. Its colleges date back to the 13th century. Afterwards, our big anticipated outing must be the Bicester Outlet Shopping Village. Continue to London for overnight.

    Day 9: London — Windsor — Stonehenge — London

    The final day of the Best of Britain tour will take you to the Windsor Castle, home to the Royal Family for 900 years and is still an Official Residence of the Queen. Take some time to explore the castle grounds and the fourteenth century St. George's Chapel. We then head to the ancient stone circle of Stonehenge which is an amazing feat of engineering and the most important prehistoric site in England. Return to London in late afternoon. Today programme is open to anyone who wish to join in and spend some time with their friends. The cost is tbc in due course.
